Take a look at what's left
The lilliputian litany of consolation
A prize it is not, a knot tied to a stake
in a heart still beating though the body is gone

Thought atop emotion
atop a mountain of lies and a molehill of regret
expectations are lifted so high they're no longer practical
not today, not tomorrow, too many, too long

Change your tune along with your suit
If that was easy, try this
try to find meaning it absurdity, in death
the only lesson learned is how not to live
